Lloretfest Itinerary

Monday

We're off! Bags packed and ready to go, so it's time for the coach journey down to Dover and the short ferry crossing (approx 90 minutes) across the Channel to Calais. From here it's about 15 hours by coach down to Spain, so settle back and enjoy the journey as you travel overnight heading south through France.

Tuesday

By about Midday, you'll be arriving into Lloret de Mar on the legendary Spanish Costa Brava. Swing by SportsParty HQ at Moby's to sign in and then check in at your accommodation in resort. With plenty of time to relax, you can head down to the beach or simply sit by the pool and enjoy some of that famous Spanish sunshine! Dinner for those on the half board package and then get dressed up for the welcome party night in Moby's and Tropics. Fortunately, all the nightlife is in walking distance from the hotels, so you haven't got too far to stagger back to bed.

Wednesday

A number of the featured sports and leisure events are based locally in Lloret de Mar. Some of the football as well as the netball, basketball, volleyball, darts and dance are all here on your doorstep. Teams in other sports take a transfer to their venues. There are some superb facilities in the region, so you won't be disappointed. After a hard day's play, the evening action takes over. You can watch live football on the huge screen by the Queen Vic or enjoy a cocktail on the beach. Our featured nightclub is open until 5am so there's fun pretty much 24/7 here if you want it!

Thursday

For those with a competitive streak, there will be finals in the offing and trophies up for grabs. Anyone taking the 'Party Package' will have loads of choice instead. Choose from some of the great activities on offer in town, have fun down at the beach or organise an excursion. It's presentation night in Tropics, so whether its tournament winners or social champions, you could be walking away with a trophy!

Friday

If you've not been to Barcelona before, then now's the perfect chance. It's a great city with so many fabulous things to see. You could take a look at the incredible Sagrada Familia cathedral, tour the amazing Nou Camp stadium or just enjoy a drink on the bustling Ramblas Avenue. If the weather's good though, then nothing beats the fantastic catamaran cruise which heads out from the beachfront in Lloret. Enjoy party sounds, food and drink after some swimming and snorkelling in the sea! Make the most of your last night out on the town.

Saturday

So you'll probably be packing your bags and checking out with a hangover. Still, you can sleep on the coach on the way back to the UK or head out to Girona airport if you can find a cheap flight home!

Sunday

It's time for an early morning ferry and the chance to buy some breakfast on the boat. Head back home to your university with memories to last a lifetime.
