We are recruiting reps for SportsParty. It’s hard work, but challenging, rewarding and fun. It’s a great introduction to the business and for all those considering a job in sports, tourism or event management should find this invaluable experience too. It can also lead to Summer positions and full time roles for those who have the ambition and flair to succeed. Positions will be available at SportsParty for the following roles:

• Sports Reps: Responsible for organisational assistance at the various sports tournaments, our sports staff also need to be able to officiate games in their chosen sport. A basic coaching or referee/umpiring qualification is usually required for this position, but experienced players with the capability for officiating are also welcome to apply. Time-keeping and general tournament assistance will also be required. Sports staff are also expected to help out with resort assistance as and when required.
  
  
• Resort Reps: Responsible for ensuring that everyone has a great time on tour, our social reps should be lively, sociable and energetic. Suitable for those with bar experience, camp or rep work, or just anyone with a good personality that can remain calm and good humoured under pressure, you will need to work long hours in the hotels and clubs of Lloret. This will include helping with hotel check in; liaising with hotel management and group leaders during the tour; helping with coach pick-up points; and being out and about during the nights in the bars, clubs and hotels. Spanish speakers are also encouraged to apply.

Working for Sports Travel International

Looking for a career in sports tourism? Enjoy sports, travel and events? Do you work well with people from different backgrounds? Are you self-motivated and enthusiastic? We are always looking for the right people to add to our team based at our Head Office at Stansted Airport in Essex on a part time or full time basis. • Summer staff: we need enthusiastic and responsible reps to travel with our American sports groups around the UK and Europe as tour escorts (reps). This is a fantastic way to interact with sports teams, see the sights and enjoy a working holiday. Most tours run 10-12 days from early June-early August. We also recruit TEFL staff and sports coaches for our language and sports courses for foreign students. There may also be possibilities for promotional work at tournaments and general office cover.
  
  
• Placements in the UK & USA: we are happy to consider taking on placement students at either our office here at Stansted Airport or at our sister office in Virginia, USA. • Full time Business Development positions: we are always looking to recruit highly motivated individuals with a sports pedigree who can bring something extra to our team. • Regional Reps: we select positive and self-motivated individuals to represent us on a local or regional basis to promote our tours abroad to clubs and schools. These are commission based roles for those looking to refer teams from their area and could earn you some serious extra cash to help pay off those bills and loans.
